MUNCIE – From Saturday, Sept. 29 to Sunday, Sept. 30, is the 5th annual Gluten Free Food Allergy Fest, presented by Enjoy Life. It is being held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.

The festival offers attendees the chance to sample gluten free products before they arrive at stores. Lectures from health professionals and demonstration of cooking gluten free meals are offered to the public.

This festival can be a great way to find out more about living with a food allergy and learn about more recipes that can help those with celiac disease or a gluten free diet to live healthier lives.

Researchers estimate that around 1.76 million people have celiac disease and an estimated 2.7 million have eliminated gluten despite not having the disease.

One day and two-day tickets are available. Prices range from free to $8 for children, $15-$25 for adults, and $12-$20 for seniors. The event is happening on Saturday, September 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, September 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can find more information on the Gluten Free Food Allergy Fest website.
